Experience a true historic working ranch with a sleigh ride!!
The Schmid Family Ranch is a Centennial farm on Wilson Mesa, about ten miles West of Telluride, Colorado. The ranch has been in operation since the family homesteaded in 1882. The family worked with the Nature Conservancy to preserve the entire ranch through a conservation easement now held by the San Miguel Conservation Foundation. Today the family's wish is to share this unique property with the community while maintaining a way of life that honors the land.

AFTERNOON SLEIGH RIDES
All rides start every half-hour
first ride @12:00, 12:30, 1:00, 1:30, 2:00, 2:30, 3:00 and the
last ride @ 3:30
DINNER SLEIGH RIDE
One a night, begins @ 4:30 or 5:30
based on the time of winter
Our meals are good old rib stickin' country cookin'! All our meat is raised here on the ranch, bringing to you the definition of farm to table.
Plate portions are like moms house and fills you up like grandma's table! Beer and wine is included!

($250 min) - 0-5yrs are FREE!
Dinner sleigh ride - $225.00 16 yrs and up
25 person max - $125.00 6-15 yrs old
($950 min) - 0-5yrs are FREE!

($275 min). - 0-5yrs are FREE!
Dinner sleigh ride. - $245.00 16 yrs and up
25 person max - $145.00 6-15 yrs old
($1,500 min) - 0-5yrs are FREE!

Join us for a new Telluride tradition! Santa and his elves will be at the Schmid Ranch for one week only! (He is a busy guy)

Come with the family to roast s'mores, have hot chocolate and go on a sleigh ride around the ranch.
Once you return, wait anxiously for Santa to arrive within moments on his very own sleigh!
RESERVATION ONLY, SPACE IS LIMITED
$95 per person, one year old and younger are free
Parents, we ask you bring a gift for your child to sneak to our elves, so when Santa comes riding in, his bag is filled with presents and he can call your child up, and hand him/her their gift!
